Tammi Walker

Dr Tammi Walker is a Reader/Associate Professor in Forensic Psychology and the lead author of 'Preventing Self-injury and Suicide in Women's Prisons' (2016: Waterside Press) with Professor Graham Towl (Durham University). She is a Fellow and a registered Chartered Psychologist of the British Psychological Society and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She has an advanced level of knowledge in forensic mental health, forensic psychiatry and psychology. She has contributed extensively to the development and delivery of interventions with imprisoned women in general and she has considerable expertise in the areas of suicide and self-injury.
